start yourself a concert or some thin man if your good people will be just walkin up to u and listening soon u will get a crowd then poeple who are n busnice might here u and stop and want talk to u man just play in a popular area were lots of people are
If you have the budget, you can go to a professional business design and get your posters made how you want. But, I understand you don’t so you can make fliers. This way is perfect and works 100% of the time: make demo CDs and send them to elementary,middle,high school, and college students. They give all types of local performers a chance. How I know?

Get local radio stations to interview you guys,do shows at local clubs,pass top dj’s your songs to get radio play,start making mixtapes,get all over youtube and myspace (promote the links) pump flyers by leaving them at local barbershops,passing them out at clubs,malls etc.
Send your songs to local DJ’s especially club DJ’s because if it has an uptempo sound to it, it has a good chance to be played there
take a design idea to fedexkinko’s. they’ll design a flyer for 50 bucks. they’ll print the flyers for .11 cents in black and white. you can get like 250 flyers for under 50 bucks i think. just start passin the shid out when it’s done
